Book the season before it snows.

Snow removal is sold in autumn and remembered in January. A branded truck works both ends of that — if the branding is on it before the first storm.

The contract is signed before the snow falls

Commercial snow contracts get negotiated in September and October, when nobody is thinking about ice. Property managers award them to companies that look reliable enough to show up at 4am, and looking reliable is largely a matter of looking established. A wrapped truck at a site walk does more for that impression than a folder of references.

The residential side runs the other way — homeowners decide during the storm, calling whoever they can think of. Which again means recognition built earlier.

Winter is a visibility problem

Plowing happens in the dark, in the snow, at low speed, in exactly the conditions where most graphics disappear. Design accordingly: high contrast, large type, and reflective elements where they earn their place. A truck that's readable under a streetlight at 5am is being seen by every property owner watching their lot get cleared.

  • Truck and plow-rig wraps built to read in low light and bad weather.
  • Reflective lettering on the panels that matter, so headlights do the work for you.
  • Salt and equipment trailer graphics — the units parked at commercial sites all season.
  • Yard and lot signage marking the properties you service.

The off-season problem, solved

Most snow operations also mow, seal, or landscape the rest of the year, and the usual mistake is branding the truck for one season. We design so both sides of the business live on the vehicle without the layout turning into a list — or, where it makes more sense, so a seasonal panel can be swapped without redoing the whole wrap. Talk to us about it early and it costs nothing extra to plan for.

When should we get trucks wrapped for winter?

Late summer or early autumn. Commercial contracts are awarded well before the first snow, and you want the branding working during the site walks and bids, not after.

Can you add reflective elements?

Yes. Reflective vinyl on selected panels makes a real difference for a vehicle that works in the dark. We'll use it where it earns its keep rather than everywhere, since it costs more than standard film.

We plow in winter and landscape in summer. One wrap or two?

Usually one, designed properly. We can build a layout that carries both without becoming cluttered, or plan a swappable panel if the two sides of the business need genuinely different treatment. Either way, decide before we design.
