Why a car is a different install than a truck or van
Sedans and compacts look like the easy wrap. They aren't. A passenger car is mostly deep, compound curves — sculpted hoods, rounded bumpers, swooping rear quarters — with very few of the big flat panels that make a box truck quick. Wrapping a car well means heating and stretching the vinyl to follow those shapes without lifting later, then tucking every edge into seams, door jambs, and around trim so the film looks painted on rather than stuck on.
The fiddly spots are where good installs separate from bad ones. Door handles, side mirrors, fuel doors, and the channels around windows all demand the film be cut, wrapped, and post-heated by hand.
